GIFwrapped

The iOS and macOS app for collecting and sharing
GIFs right from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

How do I recover lost GIFs?

On each launch, GIFwrapped will look for lost items (files that exist on the device without the corresponding metadata), and move the files to the iTunes File Sharing folder.

Access this folder and import images by tapping the import button (a box with an arrow pointing to the centre) in the top left of the Library tab. In the menu that appears, select "iTunes File Sharing". This will display a list of all files in the File Sharing folder, which can be imported with a simple tap, or deleted with a swipe to the left.

When you're done, tap "Done" to return to the library. You should find all the GIFs you selected have been returned, and sanity is restored.
